Mission

The Gold Star Ride Foundation will actively support, comfort, and provide benefits to Gold Star Families throughout the United States and will provide those things directly with personal visits via motorcycle; and we will support those other organizations that work to assist in those same activities.

We do the work that our fallen heroes would do if they hadn't fallen for our freedom.

Background

The GSRF began when its co-founder visited a Gold Star widow back in 2012. That's when his heart broke. Since then, he has worked tirelessly to provide honor and support to Gold Star Families, riding his motorcycle more than 159,000 miles to date and personally meeting with 560 Gold Star Families.

Recent Developments

Rides are scheduled for May and June at this time. Additional rides will likely be planned in July, August, September, and October. These rides will cover at least 42 states.

The Project

It costs a lot of money to perform these rides (almost all of that comes out of our pockets), and even more to provide support for the Gold Star Families. Just this winter (December) we installed a water heater for a Gold Star Widow.

Every Day we hear from another family that needs us.

Sponsorships

Sponsorships are the linchpin of a successful golf fundraiser. Not only do sponsorships bring in the bulk of a tournament's revenue, but they open doors for high-level donor relationships that can be further stewarded for future support and long-term partnerships.
